Background Information:
- YM2XBU is the callsign of Bilkent University Amateur Radio Club (Bilkent ARC).
- Bilkent ARC is one of the leading amateur radio clubs founded within educational institutions in Turkey.
- We are a student club in Bilkent University and all of members are Bilkent University students or alumni.
- Our member profiles include students/alumni from various departments (such as electronics engineering, computer programming and marketing).
QSL-Card Policy:
- Being part of an educational institution, we are trying to utilize limited funds. Therefore, we do not send print QSL Cards, although we’d really like to do so.
- However, we offer 100% QSL-Back guarantee for the print QSL Cards that you’ve sent with 1 USD. We appreciate print QSL Card exchange.
- We have an active, AG (Authenticity-Guaranteed) eQSL.cc account.

Our QSL Mgr. TA3ASX Kagan SIRDAR has completed his military obligation as of May 17th, 2013 and returned back in duty! Please contact him for QSL-Card related inquiries.
Field-Days:
- Since we do not have a dedicated station room in university campus (yet, coming soon) we are active only on portable setup.
- Sometimes, we invite fellow hams and interested students for multi-station, multi-operator field-days.
- Our presence in international ham-related activities is crucial. Therefore, we try to share as much information as we can regarding our club.
- Please keep in mind that we pursue educational purposes. Therefore, you can encounter relatively-less-experienced operators during pile-ups.
- These operators are members of our community, who really want to be skilled radio amateurs. Please be patient and helpful.
